What the heck is up!

Hello to my beloved readers! I hope this blog finds you well. First I want to tell you that you are amazing and that you can do whatever you put your mind to.

I started with that because I wish I had someone tell me that more often groing up. It was more of me being told what I was going to do. I recently started believing that, and I am here to tell you, that phrase, saying, thought or whatever we want to call it is so true. However we have to make it true and all it takes is some faith and some.

Thank you to my followes for staying with me! Iv been gone from here for a few months. This pandemic has been a trip, if you ask anyone about 2020 they may say that it has been the toughest one yet. That’s very subjective though. Nah, its been wild for sure. In spite of the new strand of corona virus that has claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands, shelter in place, bay area fire season, deaths, me loosing my job, moving out of my apartment and a slew of other random events I have actually had a great time! I can’t complain too much at all. Prior to the pandemic I had a plan and I have actually been able to stick to it but what I didn’t expect was for me to start a business. I used to jokingly ask myself what could I do? what could I sell, to make money? what skills do I have that could make me some extra money? Well looks like I’v figured it out!

Being creative and admiring my peers as they have taken advantage of the time to create has been amazing. Many of us were and are out of work and with this we have been given something that many working class, lower class people arent afforded and thats free time. When your well off you have time or you can afford to pay someone to do something one normally would not have the time to do like CREATE! It is pretty interesting. I havent been working on my podcasting much but that is on my to do list for this month. The studio that I recorded at closed temporarily and that really bothered me because I really did not want to do zoom interviews! dealing with wifi issues and not getting that in-person connection was so weak to me. Eventually I gave it a try and it was okay, I mean I have a lot to say and the people know what time it is, so I believe they will understand.

I had met someone during the pandemic and it was going well….I’m still single.

Even though we are to be socailly distancing, you could imagine that being difficult for someone like me; I have been enjoying the bay area. I miss the night life, going out to hear music, go dancing to afro beats on Thursdays, first Fridays, late night Gypsys and a whole lot of randomness. I do appreciate the pandemic for the pulling the real hustle out of me tho. Even tho it wasnt much of a pull but it just all fell in line. A wild time for me was being outside and no one was on the streets of Oakland, Ca. Have you ever walked on Broadway? But in the middle of the street at 10am? NO? neither have I until the pandemic. I feel like I am at a great place, it’s like a second chance to get things together, Iv gone back to school, saving and my credit score is going up! FInally.

Hug your family and friends, treat people kindly, wash your hands and wear a mask.

Peace.
