New Week

   Often times I hear people say how they dread Mondays and how it’s back to the grind. I have said and felt the same as well before. However about two weeks ago I stopped looking at Monday like a strict parent picking you up from a party too soon. Like that used to be the worst, your with your friends and you are having the time of your life then here comes your mom tryna pick you up early. How dare she show up ahead of time! I used to be so mad, like real mad, the nerve of me.
(That just made me laugh).

Anyway Monday’s aren’t that bad. I will say that sometimes I wish I had another day to just chill because the weekend is always so busy for me. Today I came into the office in a funk, I had a strong case of the Monday’s, at least that’s what I would normally call it but really I just didn’t get a good nights rest. Monday didn’t do nothing to me. At least I have a job to come to every Monday because some people don’t.mondays

I plan to start this week off with some good habits and less stress. I’m trying to make small goals for myself this week. Let me share some of them with you. You might want to incorporate some into your weeks as well.

 

 

1. Go to bed on time

2. Wake up when the alarm goes off

3. Make the gym 3x or more this week

4. Set clothes out night before

5. Make bed every morning

6. Leave the house on time so I won’t be late to work

I really want to get back to the gym in the mornings because doing that keeps me on track with everything else. Now the thing that will be a challenge is setting my clothes out the night before. I change my mind too much. But I’ll try.

I could surely add more things but I think these 6 is a good place to start. One challenge I have gotten better with is brushing before bed. Now don’t get all judgmental on me because I know for a fact that tons and tons or people struggle with brushing in the morning let alone before bed or in between. What really helped me was dating because I wouldn’t wanna meet someone with 10hr breath I had all day. Then there would be times someone might stay over I would wanna seem extra clean clean and hygienic so Id brush before bed. Then I thought to myself while looking in the mirror. Like, GIRL YOU COULD DO THIS EVERY NIGHT WITH YOUR FAKING SELF!! and right then I decided to continue the routine.goal
